What is Candida?
Candida albicans is a yeast that is present in most of us–a Rice University study found that 70% of us have Candida in our gut, but the reality is that for most people this is not a problem. When it gets out of control, it is called Candida overgrowth, usually as a result of several triggers that synergistically work to grow the Candida bacteria.
