The program is broken into 4 Steps.  The important thing is that your pace is yours. When you take this journey you’re going to find out that gut issues does not start on our plates or at the grocery store. Instead, it happens between our ears and in our hearts.

Step One is Mindfulness - develop a healthy perspective

Establish healthy lifestyle habits, including a regular movement routine, a supportive environment and network, and trust in yourself and the process. Mindfulness is another word for self-awareness. The most important habit we can develop is being mindful of the foods we eat, the beverages we drink, the activities we engage in, our actions, thoughts, behaviors, and the people we hang with affect your gut and life. When you feel tempted to fall back into old habits, take a moment before choosing the things you know will do harm. If you give in to temptation, be aware and observe how you feel so you can connect how the above choses impact your health.

Mindfulness is not something that happens automatically. It's like a light switch. We must turn it on. Be purposeful and intentional to practice being mindful will help you to stay focused on your health journey.


Your body knows how to correct itself… it wants to be healthy. But, with our days becoming more demanding, carving out moments of self-care can be difficult. So here's a friendly reminder to hit pause, take a step back, and re-center yourself. Get a health journal and answer the following questions to help you be more mindful of what you want to achieve.

Step Two is Eliminate Toxins - enjoy meals again!

You’ll learn how to eliminate sugars, flours, and toxins from your body. Furthermore, you’ll learn what emotional triggers you have and how to deal with them.

​

As you progress in Step Two, you’ll start eating more whole foods, transition away from foods that do harm. I help you do this with my signature practice/exercise, “The Kitchen Transition”. Plus feeling relief from your gut issues.

 

Many of the foods we consume are cooked, processed, and often reheated, diminishing the digestion and absorption of needed micronutrients. Processing and cooking destroy nearly all of the enzymes that are naturally present in food. So to make the most out of what we eat, plant-based enzymes unlock the nutrition potential in all foods and release micronutrients from a wide range of foods.

Step Three is Nourish Your Body

You will learn hot to embrace a diet regimen filled with superfoods, micronutrition, and antioxidants that help rebuild the foundation minerals and elements required for proper body function, a robust immune system, and more.

Adopt a healthy way of thinking about and eating food. Eat low-sugar fruits, lots of leafy green vegetables, clean protein, and some nuts and seeds. Try to eat a variety of foods to get different vitamins and minerals. Foods that naturally are nutrient-rich. If you are not gluten-intolerant or have celiac, enjoy whole grains. A diet that includes lots of nutrient-rich foods will reduce your risk for chronic digestive diseases.

Step Four is Repair Digestion

It's impossible to overstate the importance of probiotics and plant-based food enzymes as part of your Digestive Issues treatment plan.

 

Taking a good probiotic and plant-based digestive enzyme supplement will give your microbiome and immune system the boost that it needs.When you buy a probiotic supplement, make sure that it will deliver its bacteria to your gut. Unfortunately, most commercial probiotics are a waste of money – they only deliver around 4% of their bacteria past stomach acid.

Probiotics will restore digestive health, repair and support the gut with the intestinal flora and maintain daily elimination.

 

Flooding your gut with probiotic bacteria is a crucial part of recovering your gut health and restoring your gut flora to a healthy balance.

 

Fermented foods can be a big help, too – they're rich in probiotic bacteria and are very easy to digest. But most of their bacteria are destroyed by stomach acid.
