Hey There, With all the hustle and bustle that comes along with day to day activities, it’s no secret that your body probably will need a little TLC. From the emotional stress and cold or hot weather (depending on where you live) wreaking havoc on your skin to all those sweet treats and fast food meals causing unpleasant repercussions for your gut, your body could likely use a little help getting back into tip-top shape. Lucky for you, I'm here to help with 3 simple recipes that will help your body recover from the a busy lifestyle inside and out and support your gut.
Gut-Friendly Smoothie Bowl Nourish and support your gut with whole foods, probiotics, and enzymes all mixed together in a delicious smoothie bowl. Ingredients:
1 cup frozen pineapple
1 cup frozen mango
1 handful spinach
1 Capsule Spectrabiotic
1 Capsule Enzymes
Coconut Water to taste
Instructions: Blend all ingredients together starting with a small amount of coconut water. Continue adding coconut water in small increments until you reach your desired consistency. Remember: you should be able to eat it with a spoon! Pour it into a bowl, top with your favorite fruits and nuts, and enjoy! Wild Algae Face Mask If the colder weather has been taking a toll on your skin, use this homemade face mask to nourish and rejuvenate it! Ingredients:
1 Teaspoon Wild Algae Blend
1 Teaspoon Jojoba or Coconut Oil
1 Teaspoon Raw Honey
Instructions: Mix all ingredients together in a bowl or recycled jar. Apply to a clean face and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse and moisturize. Wild Algae Body Scrub From your feet to your face, pamper your skin with some exfoliation and nutrition using this Wild Algae Body Scrub. ¼ cup of Coconut Oil
½ cup of Pink Himalayan Salt
1 tablespoon of Wild Algae Blend
Instructions: Mix all ingredients in a recycled jar. We like our scrub a little creamy, but changing the consistency is as easy as adding more Pink Himalayan salt.
